Biography:
Fourth full professional season. Won a Kelly Cup with the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads in 2007. Rallo made his professional debut on March 24, 2006 with Idaho and attended the Iowa Stars' training camp prior to the start of the 2006-07 season. Named to 2007 ECHL National Conference All Star team. Was selected as Ferris State's Most Valuable Player following the 2005-06 season in which he led the Bulldogs in almost every offensive category. The recipient of Lloyd Earl Trophy as Ferris' top points getter with a career season-high 39 points on 17 goals and 22 assists in 40 contests a season ago, Rallo scored nine power-play goals, three short-handed lamplighters and chalked up a team-leading 11 multiple-point game performances. He was recognized twice last season (Nov. 14 and Nov. 28) as the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's (CCHA) Offensive Player of the Week. Rallo also was chosen as the Bulldogs' 2005-06 CCHA Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was a co-winner of the team's Blue Line Competitive Award. The four-year FSU letterwinner concluded his career with 108 points on 46 goals and 62 assists to go with a plus five efficiency rating. He also amassed 27 multiple-point games and seven game-winning lamplighters in his collegiate career. The 2003-04 CCHA All-Academic Special Mention honoree currently ranks 29th among the program's all-time leaders in points and is tied for 25th in goal scoring. Rallo helped the Bulldogs' 2002-03 team which registered a school-record 31-10-1 overall mark while capturing the program's first-ever CCHA Regular-Season Championship title and advancing to the Elite Eight of the 2003 NCAA Division I Championship Tournament, also a first for the Bulldog men's ice hockey program. Rallo was recognized as the 2001-02 USA Hockey Junior Player of the Year and played two seasons (2000-01 and 2001-02) in the junior ranks for the Springfield (Ill.) Jr. Blues of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
