Biography:
Entered his second full professional season in 2009-10. Last year, Stephenson spent the majority of his rookie season in Idaho (ECHL) and he also played in Providence of the AHL. In 17 contests with the Bruins, Stephenson dished out two assists and totaled 32 penalty minutes. He also played in three Calder Cup playoff games for Providence. In 53 games with Idaho, Stephenson scored five times and had 22 assists for 27 points. He also finished second on the team with 127 penalty minutes. NCAA Notes: Stephenson played four years at St. Cloud State from 2004-08. In 141 collegiate games, the defenseman scored seven goals and added 44 assists for 51 points. Stephenson amassed 159 penalty minutes at St. Cloud State. At the end of his NCAA career, Stephenson played in five AHL games for the Iowa Stars in 2008.
