Biography:
Entered his seventh full professional season in 2009-10. Last year, Krahn split the season between the NHL, AHL and ECHL. He appeared in his first NHL game with Dallas on February 14 at Chicago. Krahn surrendered three goals on nine shots one period as Dallas fell to Chicago 6-2. He played in six games with the Las Vegas Wranglers (ECHL) and was then reassigned to the Chicago Wolves (AHL) on December 12, 2008. He played in 13 games for Chicago, posting a 6-6-0 record with two shutouts, a 2.11 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage. In 2007-08, Krahn went 6-6-2 with a 2.42 GAA and a .905 save percentage in 14 AHL games with Quad City. Prior to joining the Stars, Krahn spent a total of five seasons in the Calgary Flames system. In 2006-07, Krahn posted a 14-12-0 mark with a 2.42 GAA in Omaha (AHL). The Manitoba native played in 57 games for Omaha in 2005-06, posting a 26-20-9 record and a .912 save percentage. Krahn also recorded three shutouts and a 2.50 GAA. Krahn was 20-11-2 in his second pro season, recording a 2.49 GAA and a .923 save percentage with Lowell (AHL). As a rookie, Krahn played for San Antonio (AHL), Lowell (AHL) and Las Vegas (ECHL). In 2003-04, he posted a 5-10-1 mark, a 3.17 GAA and a .898 save percentage in 21 AHL games. He also played in 14 ECHL games for Las Vegas, going 7-5-2 with a 2.61 GAA and a .925 save percentage.
