Biography: Career Notes: Enters his first full professional season in 2009-10. Tousignant played for Baie-Comeau, P.E.I., and Chicoutimi in the QMJHL from 2005-09. In all, the centerman scored 59 goals and dished out 108 assists for 167 points in 202 games. The Quebec native also compiled 369 penalty minutes. In 2008-09, Tousignant split his final QMJHL season between Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.) and Chicoutimi. In 35 games with P.E.I., he scored 14 goals and handed out 24 assists for 38 points. He also added 72 penalty minutes and a +5 rating. In 33 games with Chicoutimi, Tousignant tallied 15 times and totaled 39 points, to go along with 73 penalty minutes. For the season, Tousignant scored 29 times and amassed 77 points in 68 games. The forward also racked up 145 minutes in penalties on the year.
