Donation Requests
The Texas Stars Foundation is a registered 501 c3 charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the community through various forms of support including financial contributions, gifts in kind and volunteerism. Formed in the summer of 2010, the Texas Stars Foundation is the official charity of the Texas Stars Hockey Club. The Foundation strives to utilize the talents and resources of the Texas Stars players, families, staff and ownership to enrich the greater central Texas area.
The Texas Stars Foundation accepts grant applications from 8 April 2013 to 31 May 2013. All grants must be submitted by these dates to be eligible for review.
Requirements:
All groups seeking grant funding from the Texas Stars Foundation must meet the following criteria:
• Organization must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
• Organization must comply with the Texas Stars Foundation mission
• Organization must be located and serve the Central Texas area
• Organization must not be connected with religious or political entities
• Grants are not awarded to individual sports teams or leagues

Grant application package must include:
• Grant application form, completely filled out
• Cover letter
• An IRS letter confirming your organization's 501(c)(3) status
• Names and affiliation of the organization’s Board of Directors
• Budget of specific program, event, or project for which funds are being requested
• Any available articles, published literature, brochures, photographs, statistics, or supplemental information relevant to the grant request

Texas Stars Foundation Donation Requests
The Texas Stars Foundation is pleased to help charitable organizations throughout Texas to raise funds by providing auction and raffle items for charity events as well as ticket opportunities. The Texas Stars’ donation request policy is as follows:
•Requests must be received 4 weeks prior to your event.
•Request must be received on non-profit letterhead and contain verification of 501(c)3 status.
•Requests must include a completed donation request form.
•Requests will not be granted for individuals or for-profit organizations.
