STARS SIGN ROOKIE TYLER LUDWIG TO ATO
Stars Host Milwaukee on Thursday at 7:30 PM

Cedar Park, TX – The Texas Stars announced on Wednesday that defenseman Tyler Ludwig has been signed to an ATO (Amateur Tryout Agreement).

Ludwig turns pro after a four-year career at Western Michigan University. In four years with the Broncos, Ludwig scored 16 goals and dished out 54 assists for 70 points in 152 NCAA games. During his junior and senior seasons, the 6-foot-2, 205 pound defender led the Broncos in points by a defenseman. The Colleyville, TX native posted a +12 rating as a senior and finished his NCAA career a +5 overall. Ludwig is the twin brother of current Stars defenseman Trevor Ludwig and the son of former NHLer and Dallas Stars defenseman Craig Ludwig.

The Stars will host the Milwaukee Admirals on Thursday, March 18th at 7:30 PM. On Thursday, fans will have the opportunity to purchase a $20.00 terrace-level ticket, which includes All-You-Can-Eat popcorn, hotdogs, peanuts, soda and nachos. Texas will begin a 14-day and seven-game road trip in Rockford on Saturday, March 20th at 7:05 PM. All games can be heard on the Stars flagship station ESPNAustin 104.9 FM “The Horn” or ESPNAustin 1530-AM.

Tickets for any of the Stars 40 regular season home games at Cedar Park Center are on sale, starting as low as $9.00 a seat. Individual game tickets may be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000, by going online at www.ticketmaster.com or by visiting any local Ticketmaster outlet.

Season ticket packages to see the Stars play their Inaugural season at the Cedar Park Center are on sale now, starting as low as $12.00 a seat.
