Stars Host Milwaukee on Thursday at 7:30 PM

Cedar Park, TX – The Texas Stars announced on Wednesday that defenseman Tyler Ludwig has been signed to an ATO (Amateur Tryout Agreement).

Ludwig turns pro after a four-year career at Western Michigan University. In four years with the Broncos, Ludwig scored 16 goals and dished out 54 assists for 70 points in 152 NCAA games. During his junior and senior seasons, the 6-foot-2, 205 pound defender led the Broncos in points by a defenseman. The Colleyville, TX native posted a +12 rating as a senior and finished his NCAA career a +5 overall. Ludwig is the twin brother of current Stars defenseman Trevor Ludwig and the son of former NHLer and Dallas Stars defenseman Craig Ludwig.

The Stars will host the Milwaukee Admirals on Thursday, March 18th at 7:30 PM. On Thursday, fans will have the opportunity to purchase a $20.00 terrace-level ticket, which includes All-You-Can-Eat popcorn, hotdogs, peanuts, soda and nachos. Texas will begin a 14-day and seven-game road trip in Rockford on Saturday, March 20th at 7:05 PM.
