Stars Host Iowa Wild Tonight & Saturday at Cedar Park Center
CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has returned center Travis Morin on loan to Texas. Dallas also placed defenseman Trevor Daley on injured reserve (lower body injury).
Morin, 29, has appeared in three games for Dallas this season, registering two shots and a plus-1 rating. His 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists) in 19 games played with Texas are currently tied for first in the AHL with teammate Colton Sceviour. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota was originally selected by Washington in the ninth round (263rd overall) of the 2004 NHL Draft. He was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 12, 2010.
Daley, 30, has posted five points (1-4=5) in 27 games this season. He ranks second on the team in blocked shots (45) and third amongst team defensemen in total time on ice (530:30). The 5-foot-11, 195-pound native of Toronto, Ontario was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (43rd overall) of the 2002 NHL Draft.
Dallas returns to action on Saturday, December 7th, hosting the Philadelphia Flyers for a 1:00 p.m. faceoff at American Airlines Center.
