Dallas Recalls Scott Glenni, Brenden Dillon and Jordie Benn
Winnipeg Reassigns Michael Forney to ECHL’s Colorado Eagles

Cedar Park, TX - The Dallas Stars announced on Friday that the club has recalled defenseman Brenden Dillon, forward Scott Glennie and defenseman Jordie Benn from the Texas Stars, Dallas’ primary affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). In a separate transaction, the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets have reassigned forward Michael Forney from the Texas Stars to the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL.

Dillon, 21, has played in 72 games for Texas, scoring five goals and 21 assists for 26 points and 91 penalty minutes. He was signed to a three-year contract as a free agent on March 3, 2011. The 6-3, 212-pound defenseman played in 72 games with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the WHL last season, scoring eight goals and 51 assists for 59 points. He is looking to make his NHL debut.

Glennie, 21, has played in 68 games this season for Texas and has 12 goals and 25 assists for 37 points. The 6-2, 200-pound forward from Winnipeg, Manitoba was selected in the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft (No. 8 overall). He is looking to make his NHL debut.

Benn, 24, collected one assist in his two games for Dallas this season. He became the 10th player in Dallas Stars history to record his first NHL point in his first NHL game. Along with younger brother Jamie Benn, they became the third set of brothers in Dallas Stars history and the sixth in team history to play in an NHL game together.

The Dallas Stars will faceoff against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday at American Airlines Center (7 p.m. CT, TV: FOX Sports Southwest Plus; Radio: 1310 The Ticket).

Forney joined the Stars on Mar. 2, playing in 11 games. The 23-year-old scored once and added a goal for two points.He spent the bulk of this season with the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL. In 53 games with Colorado, he scored 20 goals and totaled 51 points. The Thief River Falls, MN native was drafted in the third round (#80 overall) by Atlanta in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

The Stars return home on Tuesday, April 10th for a 7:30 p.m. faceoff against the Chicago Wolves. Tuesday is also an HEB Night, where fans may bring any HEB non-perishable food item to the box office and receive $5 off their ticket price. The Stars close out the 2011-12 regular season with three games in three nights from April 13-15. Texas will play in San Antonio on Friday, April 13th at 7:00 p.m., then return home on Saturday, April 14th at 7:00 p.m. to host Oklahoma City. Saturday is also Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Bossy HD, where the Stars will hand out numerous prizes and giveaways to fans at the final home game of the regular season. Saturday night is also a State Farm Family Four Pack, where fans may purchase four hot dogs, four sodas and four tickets starting at $48. Texas will close out the regular season on the road in Houston on Sunday, April 15 at 5:35 p.m.
